Pros:

This actually a great story. I am a loyal Equity resident who resided in two Equity buildings that were ultimately sold. I am planing a move back to another Equity Building. I have had such an amazing experience as an Equity Resident in both residences...the staff is always terrific; the buildings are pristine; service requests are dealt with immediately and management is always responsive. Their resident portal is simply the best. I just do not want to lease in any building unless they are managing it.

Pros:

The quiet luxury of this building in the most beautiful area of the city is the place to live. I was so grateful for the knowledge and patience of the Leasing Department helping me find the perfect apartment. Walking along the Hudson River is the best way to renew my energy. I love it here!

Pros:

Moved in around December and we love the building. There's a grocery store right outside and dry cleaning in the building. The concierge know us by name and let us know if packages have arrived (sometimes they even deliver them if they find the time). We are across the street from the Hudson River and watch sunsets every afternoon after we walk our Chihuahua to the dog park 3 blocks on 72nd street. Easy access to the 1-2-3 subway and we actually park in the garage on the lower level. I would say this beautiful building is the best we have made for our family yet :)

Cons:

I write the review to help others not make the mistake I made. I lived in 180 RSB for 3 years, left for 1 year and half and came back. I regret coming back as the leasing office in the building changed and they are rude and patronizing. The service in the building got worse - takes forever to get anything fixed. I wish I didn't move back and I would not recommend this building. Mind you this review comes from a tenant who lived here before, came back -and I have references to compare. I am living here now and I won't recommend it. I am trying to help you avoid doing the same mistake I did - the building management is greedy for fees and care only for money, the service is poor and the leasing office is rude and patronizing. Their motto is live happily in the building - from a tenant perspective you won't Iive happily here.

Pros:

This is the nicest building I've lived in since living in NYC. I was able to find a studio and get approved from California. The leasing agent I worked with, Thomas, was very helpful. I took the redeye into the city and someone was there to greet me at 6 am and allow me into my new apartment. I've lived here for about 2 months and haven't had a single issue. (knock on wood, lol). The doormen are the nicest ever. I have asked for everything from a hammer to a corkscrew and they were able to provide them!I think the rent prices are extremely fair considering the amenities. The train is near by and there is grocery store in the building. Mail and deliveries are reliable - which in NYC is just a treat!

I have had a great experience, from getting the lease done, to moving in to all the help the staff has provided in my first month in the building!

Pros:

Having now sampled 3 other buildings in the time since I left 180 Trump Place, I can safely say that the quality of their daytime and early evening front desk crew far surpasses what I have encountered elsewhere. In 2 out of 3 of the places the rent was less than Trump Place, so perhaps I got what I paid for. Regardless, my advice to current residents.... enjoy it while you have it.
