Pros:

As happy as I am, the new owners are only renewing leases on a month to month basis, which won't give me a peace of mind knowing that whenever they want to get rid of me to turn this into condos they will .. :( I'm moving out of NYC next year and wanted this to be my home until then, since I've been living here for two years. Unfortunately I don't see it like that with a month to month agreement. The new owners are making many positive changes to the building, and I am very happy.

Cons:

However, it's difficult to call a place "home" when there's no security that I'll have the place I call "home" and that I'll only have it until they decide so. My one complaint about the building are some tenants who are clearly college kids who keep their music way to loud in the middle of the night. Oh, one more complaint, many tenants with dog leave their dogs unattended on the rooftop while they chat and last week I witnessed two large dogs attaching a smaller dog. So my complaints are not the management but some of the tenants who should keep this a safe place for all.

Pros:

Pretty building, nice rooftop, good location, nice doormen

Cons:

BED BUGSSSS!!!!! This building has a history of bed bugs, the management company is nasty and does not care about how much money you have to spend to get rid of the bed bugs. They also raise your rent and WANT to kick you out once your lease is over.

Absolutely the worst building management ever. The building management only cares about taking money instead of taking care of any issues of the tenant. They are nasty and ignorance. The building has the worst hygiene and dishonest service people. You will definitely regret for living in this building.

All the horrible things you read online about this leasing office and the "managers" they put in charge is true. I have not lived in this building, but I've been a broker in NYC for close to a decade, and I was absolutely APPALLED by the lack of professionalism and frankly, downright RUDENESS I encountered here. Particularly with one of the head "managers" there, Elise Fishman. I have never had a leasing agent actively DISCOURAGE my clients from renting an apartment there, but that is EXACTLY what she did. She was rude and nasty to them-- just off putting as humanly possible (I assume she was told to be this way so the owners of the building could get out of paying the broker's fee that they allegedly offer). But to top it off, she had the nerve to UNDERMINE me in front of my clients by telling me to take them to other buildings in the area!!! I have never seen a leasing agent do this before! Why talk my clients out of taking an apartment there?! UNHEARD OF!!! And the joke is, there weren't even availabilities in the buildings she was telling me, a broker with nearly 10 years experience(!!!), to take them to!Of course my clients WERE put off and I lost out on the commission. When I looked into someone higher up to complain to, I strangely wasn't able to find ANYONE to contact!! I have never SEEN a shadier company than this! Elise CLAIMED to work directly for the owners, and this I can believe, because I could not find information ANYWHERE on how to contact them. But either the leasing agents are being deliberately off-putting to clients who come in with brokers because they've been TOLD to do this (by the mysterious people who own this building that no one can contact!) or they are doing it by themselves. Either way, I have never seen a leasing office run like this. And apparently they don't just treat brokers badly, but the tenants as well. I looked into making a formal complaint with REBNY, but naturally I couldn't find them listed with them. And of course, REBNY never does a THING to help brokers anyway! But overall I would stay the hell away from "The Vogue." They make it impossible to do business with them and will ACTIVELY put off your clients so they don't rent there and have to pay out a commission! SHAMEFUL!!!!!

This is probably the worst building, service, management i have ever experienced. I currently live here and it is an unsanitary building to say the least. Management does not care about their tenants. Do not move here.
