ve lived at Tapestry for over a year and have had numerous issues with the management agency. They are incredibly disorganized which has resulted in them incorrectly saying that rent was not paid on several instances. When I call to try to get someone on the phone to figure out what is going on it always goes to voicemail and no one ever returns my calls. The only way I have been able to get someone on the phone is to call seven times in a row. Additionally, the persons from the management company that work on site in the building insist billing is not their job and are less than helpful. They have no advice on how to get in touch with the management company and don't seem to care about anything but filling apartments. On the bright side the maintenance and front desk staff are superb. But it's still not worth getting eviction notices because the management company can't get their shit together.
The building is nice and well kept, the area also is pretty safe. The staff is plesent, but most of the residents living here are spoiled, intitled shitheads. They ignore the concierge, complain about every little stupid irrellevent thing like"come on" your still in harlem"not the upper westside..while others are not so rude and do give a fuck that staff has a family and bills that need to be paid also, and someone not smiling at you is not the end of the world. Stop complaining about the guards who break there backs to secure the residents and property, stop trying to get every last one who walks through the door fired, then and only then would i give this building 3 stars
Love living here.. the area is getting better and the building is great.. near all the train. yes the front staff change all the time but hey nothing is perfect
I've Lived In The Building Since It Was First Built. Second Resident On My Floor. Since Then A Lot Has Changed. There Is A New Doorman Every Few Months, iDon't Even Bother Getting Acquainted Anymore. We Use To Have Friendly Doorman Now They Don't Even Speak Wen You Walk In And Out. Management Has Changed Also Still Waiting For Them To Fix My Close Door That's Been Broken Over 5Months Now. Its A Nice Building But In A Shitty Neighborhood. Drug Addicts All Over And Don't Even Get Me Get Started On Lexington Ave, One Of The Worst Places To Be Especially In The Summer Time. I'm Looking To Move And Get Far Far Away From The East Side!
