Avalon is great! Although it was noisy, now the construction is ended and it goes back to normal now. Great experience living here

Great staff; Valerie is exemplary at her job and has a great personality. Alex is the quiet type who performs his job with great skill.The construction issue in not interminable; its on the St John the Divine property

Avalon is good. But it is too noisy!!! There is a construction site just behind the building. Noise will start from 7 am and will last for a whole day. It's really too loud. The average decibel reaches 55 even I close all windows. It will end in December 2018!! It affect a lot of residents. I don't know why I spend more than 3000 dollars a month to live a place like this.Never rent any house before you really see it! Because no one will tell you things like this.

We had a fantastic experience with the leasing office. Nazeela is such a lovely person who helped us look for units that met our specific requirements and was always friendly and smiling when we came in to view an apartment. When I tried to apply for an apartment on my phone and it didn't go through she let me come back to her office to use her computer to finish applying. Great experience all around.

Never! Never! Never! Choose this apartment!I'm writing this at 1 am! Why? Because I can't sleep! The noise is horrible every night and every early morning! The structure of the wall of this building is wood, so the noise of neighborhood can kill you. As such a expensive apartment, some of the residents have really poor quality! Especially on 4th floor. They do laundry very late night and early morning! Every day!!! Every day!!! Every day!!! You know what? They also do many laundries day time! I just wonder if them open a laundry upstairs. After a whole day work, you will never get a peace relax in this apartment. I really regret to sign the contract. I complained thousands of times. The officer only said they "will" talk to the residents. But I didn't see they do anything. Things never go better! I pay so much money to get a so horrible apartment, I don't want you suffer this with me.By the way, you have to pay 75 dollars to use the gym.

Great building, reception staff is very nice, especially Val. She takes the extra effort to call the elevator for me, and send it to my floor, which is a huge help when I come in with my arms full of groceries!

Wonderful place to live! The doormen are kind and I the apartment management team members are responsible and quick. Liz always offers best services and every time I come back late, she gave me warm welcomes.

We've been in the building for about nine months and have really enjoyed the location, building amenities, and of course our in-unit washer/dryer! But as others have noted, the fantastic staff is what makes this building special. I'm always glad to see Alex and Liz at the front desk welcoming me home, and Valerie especially is wonderful, she is so nice and provides very personalized service.

My husband and I have just signed our lease to stay in this building for a third year. The building's location, the apartment unit and the amenities we have are all great -- though what really sets the Avalon Morningside Park apart from other buildings is the wonderful staff. Alex, Valerie and Elizabeth at the reception desk are always so warm, welcoming and professional. The maintenance crew (Angel, Tashi, all of them) are AMAZING; no matter how big or small, anytime we have a maintenance request, one of them is immediately here to help out and he always goes above and beyond the minimum that is needed. They are friendly, so skilled and always considerate, taking care to ensure everything in this building functions well. The management staff is also very organized and helpful; signing and renewing leases has always been easy and quick. We love it here. Each of the staff members' effort to make this building feel like home shows, making the Avalon Morningside Park a great place to live.

The best part of moving in was meeting Valerie at the front desk. She's amazing and always so happy and greets you no matter what time it is. She goes out of her way for all the residents here. Aside from knowing her as working at the front desk she has become a very nice friend as well. Upon moving next month I'm going to miss her so much.

A great place to live, doormen are extremely nice and the management team responds to work order quickly. The front desk people, Alex and Liz offer the best service, and make AMP like a home for everyone :)

We've loved living at the Avalon Morningside for the year we have been here. The finishes in the apartments are really nice and having a washer and dryer in unit has been a huge timesaver. But even better then the apartment has been the treatment we've received from the building staff. Whenever we have had a maintenance issue, however minor, someone has come either the same or next day to fix it. Alex, at the front desk, always greets me with a smile every morning I go to work and Valerie is super nice as well. Yolanda at the leasing center has always been helpful and responsive whenever I've reached out to her for help or questions. Overall a great place to live!
