Pros:

I am surprised this has such a low rating. I have been living here for a while, and have really enjoyed it. Management:Management attitude and presence is typical for this price range (if not better than most other buildings). They answer emails/ phone calls (it might take 2 or 3 tries, but at least they respond). Also, there are holiday parties hosted by management - 4th of July and one in December which the building does not have to to. They also allow flex walls in the apartment which is great. The common rooms are pretty large so, even with a flex wall, there is still enough space for a 3 person couch/TVCommon Areas (additional $50 a month fee for the fob):Above and beyond for a building within this price range. The gym and lounge are both massive. There is a flat screen TV in the lounge with a big couch which people barely use. I have often used the common space to work from home to get a change of scenery. There is also an arcade which I've never used, but it's cool to have! The roofdeck is also really beautiful. It has some grassy spots to lay with a towel and Adirondack chairs. The wall is high enough to feel safe, but low enough to see all of NYC.Apartments:This building is brand new so everything is updated and clean. There are in-unit washers and driers, a lot of closet space, and many windows in the apartments. The kitchen is all stainless steel appliances with a lot of counter space. There is a lot of construction going on around the building, but the windows are pretty thick and keep out most of the noise.Staff:This building has Building Link which is where you can see if you have packages, put in maintenance requests, look at and post on the internal market, etc. If we ever have a maintenance problem with the apartment, it is always fixed within a day. Also, the doorman are really awesome. They are always smiling and are willing to help and answer questions to make your day easier.Cons:-There used to be a shuttle to Penn Station, but since the 7 train opened up a few blocks away, they no longer have this. It would be nice to still have it since I would often use it to just get into more central NYC (I don't have an unlimited subway pass) - but I guess I'll just walk (0.6 miles: ~10 minutes) or CitiBike-I have had about three instances where I had to wait in line to get an elevator to my apartment - not sure why this happened especially since I usually don't have to wait more than 2 minutes.-The package valet service isn't 24/7 - but you are able to call to have it delivered to your door or have it held with the doorman if you will be home after it's closing at 8pm-The system to pay rent only allows 1 person - so the other people in the apartment have to figure out an alternate way to pay rent (whether paying that 1 person or manually sending checks to the office).Overall, I am very pleased with this building and haven't had any major problems, and the problems that I do have don't really bother me. This, like all buildings, if you need anything form management, you need to stay on top of it until you get what you need.

Pros:

This building is one of the few buildings I don't feel skeezy talking to leasing people - this doesn't mean they are great, but they are responsive. They answer emails and have free holiday events for the residents. They are a lot better than most other buildings within this price range. If you are new to NYC, don't get discouraged by some bad management reviews, unless you are willing to pay a lot more in rent. Take a look at other building reviews and you will see how bad some can be. The building has really great doormen (they know who everyone is) and really terrific amenities. The gym is massive, a lot bigger than other buildings I've been in, even comparable to actual stand alone gyms like Crunch. The roof deck is beautiful overlooking all of Manhattan and there is an arcade room, just in case! I've seen residents in the common room playing Netflix on the TV, working on the tables, or just sitting to relax and read a book. This common room is really large, which is almost unheard of in NYC. There is also a deli in the lobby as well which makes it very convenient for last minute cravings. The building over all is really terrific. The apartments are spacious with plenty of large closets, gorgeous bathrooms, kitchens and plenty of windows. The best part is in-unit washer and dryers! Transportation was made so much easier with the opening of the 7 train about 3 blocks away. There are also CitiBikes a couple blocks in all directions and 1 block from the water and the West Side Highway bike path. The Highline is right at your doorstep as well.

Cons:

This building has pest problems. Number of times I had to defend my space from roaches. There are many section 8 people living in the building which generate garbage everywhere. Instead of placing things appropriately into the trash room, they leave organic waste rotting in open recycling bins and outside of the trash room. This obviously leads to an infestation problem. Section 8's pay $600 while my rent just sky-rocketed by another $700. Construction noise is horrible. Walls are paper thin - if you have any normal sound system for your entertainment system, neighbors will be banging on the wall at all times. The gaps under the doors are at least 1.5 inch so you will hear everything from the hallway at all times. Feels like you are living in the hallway at times. The apartments are old - rusty bath tubs, rusty bathroom shelves and old appliances. You are better off looking for a place in a newer building because the price is the same.

Cons:

This is purely an update to my original review. This is also only for the finance and management of the building. The doormen and most of the residents are great. The finance department is deplorable. There is an online payment option for paying rent and you CANNOT allocate if the money is for a rent payment or a deposit payment and because of this they will add late fees on top of late fees and when you try to show them their own online payment portal and how it functions for the user, they ignore you and say "sorry, no, nothing we can do". The building has gone downhill as it stands lately, far too much Hudson yards construction and noise, disrespectful construction workers clogging the sidewalks, concrete trucks blocking cab access. This is in the end, someones home and to have it so swarming with construction work it feels very industrial and at times, unsafe. Its really no longer a luxury building at all, rather a place of frustration, noise, no views, and incorrect fees.

Cons:

The OHM building is a complete scam and directed terribly. I honestly feel bad for the people that work so hard to create such great development. Meanwhile the service is unprofessional and animalistic. This building won't last long unless the management changes completely. Anyone having unresolved issues, please contact me as I would love to protect anyone else from this inhuman experience. Cheers,Risilda risildalaho.blogspot.com

Pros:

Lived here for 5 years.Building was great before Hudson Yards, but not filled with construction noise, blocked views, and a sketchy management + leasing office. The doormen and other tenants are the best, besides everything is sketchy.

Cons:

Management is extreme poor, they won't act, they'll just send lousy emails instead. Leasing office is going to try to rip you off by going higher values to rent places which had views back then. They'll try to get you wherever they can with charges. I tried to stay in the building but leasing director wasted my time instead of helping with my lease and had to move out.In moving process, they didn't do their pre-move inspection, came with really fake charges upto $4k even though the place was pristine after 5 years. They even tried to execute an unsigned move out document. That's how low they can go to scam you last minute even you pay a premium rent over years. The building is on a huge decline because of construction around, as well as lots of new buildings coming out next door, so they're trying to scam people to make the most of it. STAY AWAY!

Pros:

Spacious bright and airy apartments which is rare in Manhattan especially for this price point. Staff is friendly helpful and responsive and have barely turned over in the 6 years I I've lived here. Tenants are mostly young professionals and are mostly very nice. Very dog friendly. New 7 train access is very convenient. Highly recommend.

Pros:

Moved in a couple months ago. I've really enjoyed my experience here so far. The doormen are kind, management is friendly. Move-in was quick and painless. I'm not sure what the others who posted are complaining about. The rooftop is probably the best view in the area, almost 365°. There's a gym, a fun little arcade, and a beautiful lounge that no one uses. The valet service is awesome if you get a lot of packages. They also have in-unit laundry which is a huge plus. Lots of cool people in the building as well. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Views are good if you face south and that's it.

Cons:

Management is impossible to deal with. None of the machines or hot water or anything work and they never fix them. I could go on, but I'm too busy trying to find a new place to live.
