Current Tenant: 2017 - 2018

Pros:

This building is awesome. It is one of the only doormen rental buildings in Soho. It is so nice and clean and everybody who works there is extremely nice and helpful. The apartments are amazing. They are very big with large floor to ceiling windows. The master bathroom has two sinks which makes it great for couples and new families. The bathroom itself is new and very well done, with an amazing bathtub. The location is absolutely incredible in the heart of Soho and walking distance to the West Village, Greenwich Village, East Village, Noho and more. The restaurants nearby are phenomenal and there is never a lack of good food easily accessible. There are great bars and amazing nightlife nearby.

Cons:

The air condition is not very powerful, but that can probably be fixed. The walls are a little thin, as I always heard my neighbors through the wall that my bed was against....I am sure they heard me too

Pros:

building is the perfect size, 6 floors, and each apartment has so much character. The doorman is so friendly and always willing to help out!

Cons:

I have nothing bad to say about his building. I just renewed my lease, again.

Cons:

Lived here for a couple of years. The doormen and staff are wonderful. The problem is the tenants. It's a bunch of young post-college kids who are loud, disrespectful to property, clueless, and drunk. They smoke on the floor, burn cheap candles from Yankee Doodle, and leave trash outside because they are too lazy and obnoxious to put the their trash bag in the actual chute. The other thing, there is a fire house on 29th street. And the bar Tonic is across the street. Both very loud. Doormen are part time. Wish building would have upgraded to full time to compete with the rest.

Cons:

If you like loud and disrespectful neighbors and a useless management office that does not care about anything especially its tenants, this is the place for you. We have lived here for less than a year and are sick of the constant disrespect. Even the doorman who you report noise complaints to will literally say "what can I do about it? its just a party" when you tell them your walls are shaking from the noise. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Pros:

We lived there for 3 years and now live in Brooklyn with our new baby. While it would've been silly to stay in a small one bedroom apt, I still dream about being back in that building with the nice doormen, and clean laundry room and thick walls that you can't hear your neighbor through. I miss you Saranac!!
