Elevator in the building. Super keeps the building relatively clean. Pets allowed.
Cons:
Beware of a huge crackhead problem on this street! Specifically, they break into this building at night, smoke crack and have sex in the stairwell. Packages are frequently stolen from the lobby. The 42nd street post office is lazy AF, and don't deliver packages. Management refuses to upgrade the intercom system and overall safety and security of the tenants. 44th street is the FIRST street you turn east on when you come out of the Lincoln tunnel - so the vehicle noise and car honking is CONSTANT. The noise level is outrageous.
Reasonable Rent - paid $4500/month for a 3Bdrm/1Bthrm
Laundry on-site in basement (pay with credit card)
Responsive super
1 Avenue walk to A/C/E trains
Cons:
Management company (Beach Lane Realty LLC) sucks
Crappy elevator that was stuck often
Rodent and insect issues
