Pros:

Pros:1. Location - You can literally get to Dekalb Ave Station (B, Q, R) in less than a min, within 3 mins to Nevins Street Station (2, 3, 4, 5). Getting to Manhattan is easy. With the incoming Trader Joe's, Target, the whole City Point shopping area, this location is really convenient. 2. Relative new building and washer/dry within the unit

Cons:

I've lived there for a year and recently moved to another new building around the area. I would not recommend living here since there are way more better options around this area.Cons:1. Location/Noise - The building is across the Long Island University and Brooklyn Hospital Center. You will hear around the clock school bell until 9pm. You will hear ambulance/siren all the time as well. Like most relative new buildings, the soundproof sucks. I can literally hear my neighbor having sex like they are doing it right next me.2. Maintenance team - You have to send in multiple requests to get stuff done or they just wont get to it in timely fashion.3. Doormen - The doormen are mostly rude. I asked them to give my friends access to my place when I was not present. They were either rude to them or disrespect in general like they are some criminals. 4. Management - The whole management team is unprofessional and disorganized in general. The move in and move out processes were like a joke. They never really explained how the move in or move out process completely. When I first moved in, they did not tell me about this deposit check I had to give them before I used the moving elevator. After I moved everything to the elevator, they insisted me giving them the deposit check right away. I had to try to get out of the elevator when I already moved everything into the elevator and looked for my checkbook to give them the check. The move out process was even worse. They were like, "Ok we will do the move out inspection tomorrow, just come anytime." I went to the front desk around 11am the next day and they were like, "Oh the guy who does inspection isn't around until 1pm." I had to wait there about 2 hours for this move out inspection. I specifically asked them what time I should be there the day before. They should've really kept a schedule book or something.5. Lastly, I did not get my deposit check back until more than 2 months after I moved out. I had to contact different people in order to finally get my deposit back.

Pros:

I've lived here for 3 years and I absolutely loved everything about the building. The doormen and staff were always so kind and warm

Cons:

However, my last month of living in this building turned so unpleasant because of the new resident manager (Dumitru Toderic) that got hired in August 2016. I emailed him with an issue about moving out, he was unkind and very uninterested in helping me. He ignored my emails, before his official start. If you have any issues with the building, DO NOT RELY on this new resident manager.
