Pros:

I love this building! I'm been in a 3-bedroom for almost a year and this place has been wonderful. The super is always very responsive, the doormen are helpful and polite, the rooftop/game room is awesome, and I've never experienced any issues with bugs/rodents. Close walk to the JMZ, great bars and restaurants nearby. Management has also been great!

I wouldn't say the building is luxury, but what makes it are the awesome managers, including Sean the Front Desk Manager and Viktor, the live-in super. Between keeping the building safe and clean, their collective attentiveness and help, they make the place.The rooftop, location (right off the M/J line) and basic gym help too. Also noteworthy, the hot hot water, the central A/C and heat, and nice sound proof windows. Oh and the back area for the dogs for those cold (or hot) days. I have a two bedroom here with my dog Max, and I've been very happy. Sean and Viktor are the best!

This place is average at best. This definitely cannot be considered luxury by any means.There are plenty of other apartments in the neighborhood that are less expensive or comparable.Pros: Newer building (built in 2012?), laundry on site, small gym, parking available, small dog patch, doormanCons: hallways and stairways are always dirty, no garbage disposals, dishwashers or stove/bathroom vents (according to the lease, you cannot install them yourself either), extra front door keys will not be given for cleaning ladies or dog walkers, doorman only allow dog walkers/cleaning ladies in at their discretion (depends "how they feel"), half the gym equipment is usually not working properly, Maintenance keeps everything from abandoned furniture to old appliances (working or not) in the parking area - it's beginning to look like the start of a junk yard, weeds are allowed to grow one foot tall before they are cut. Clearly, I'm not so happy here and will only stay as long as the duration of my lease. Please be observant and ask the property management and doorman a lot of questions before signing the lease. I was told that my dog walker would be allowed in the building as long as he was the same person everyday. After speaking with the doorman twice about my new dog walker, the walker wasn't allowed into the building on his first day. He was actually shoved out the front door. The staff is so unprofessional! I assume because the doorman offered his services as a dog walker and I decided to go with a less expensive option, this lead to his inexcusable behavior. The property management company didn't seem to care when I brought this up to them either.Please see my review for Kai management as well.
