Never stay here! This building might be very modern, nice, and comfortable. They have by far the WORST management system I have ever seen. The workers in this building are the rudest, laziest, and most hard to deal with group of people I've ever encountered. I am only 19, my friend and I leased an apartment out of this building. Even on the first day of arriving the front desk worker gave us a hard time because we had to wait in the lobby for our broker to get there. He made us wait outside the building until she got there and told them who we were. Even though I tried to provide ID to the man when I got there. He just rudely told me "I don't need to see that. You just need to stand outside and wait". Okay, I forgave them for that one since they didn't know me. But then I couldn't get my key fob(key to let you up the elevator), so I had to ask the front desk every time to send me up. Every time I had to argue with a worker about how I don't have my key fob yet. EVERY TIME! It shouldn't matter if I don't have it or not, let me upstairs! Another major upset was the way they treated my cousin, who came to visit me. I've had plenty of visitors like my mom, my Caucasian friends, and other family members. None of them have ever had a problem getting into the building or into my room. Except when my cousin of color comes to stay with me. The building decides to tell me I cannot have any visitors, it's against building policy.... Really? This time it's against building policy? I don't think so based on all of the other people I've had come see me. They said they needed to get permission first and made him wait in the lobby for more than 4 hours, just to tell him that he's not allowed up and it's against building policy. This is by far the worst building to be in in midtown. I hope you can find a better option

Cons:

The management took almost half a year to finally send me my deposit despite a bunch of emails I sent and phone calls I made. I had to threaten to sue them, then they finally acted upon my overdue request. This is horrible. The apartment I had was just too small for me and there were too many rules w this management that I find extremely annoying and I don't understand the point of those rules. For example u r not allowed to take ur bike in the regular elevators which r located in the lobby but u have to take the service elevator to the basement then take another elevator up to the street level and come out on the side of the building then walk it to the entrance. Wtf????The management is horrible they take forever to reply to any questions or anything whatsoever. So if u want to have a piece of furniture delivered u have to contact them multiple times by email at least a week and a half in advance. They don't pick up phone calls. I would recommend looking into other buildings n make sure the management doesn't suck. Also this area is horrible I don't understand how anyone would want to live here. It's like living where the whole world comes n take pics n it's just gross, too many people, mostly old ppl due to many theaters around =old ppl walk slow as fuck =there r thousands of them =u r stuck on the sidewalk n have to use the road n risk getting hit by maniac drivers. For me I had to go to school a couple blocks away n I wanted a bathroom w shower and bath tub separately so I rented this place off the internet. Bad idea.
