Pros:

Lived at the Instrata Gramercy for 2 years and it was a great experience. The apartments are spacious, with great wood floors, beautiful balconies and fantastic floor to ceiling windows. The bathrooms are large, clean and modern. The kitchen appliances were a bit outdated, but my understanding is that these are being replaced now with stainless steel appliances, which, having seen, look great. As for other amenities, the gym is sufficient. The roof deck is amazing with stunning views. Instrata also throws entertaining events for its residents (oyster shucking classes, dj spinning classes, a poker event, etc.) that you can avail yourself of. Finally, the staff at Instrata Gramercy is exceptional. Dana, the leasing agent, is fantastic and accommodating. Paul and his maintenance team are exceptional and immediately responsive to any needs. The doormen, including Chris, Will, Julian, Raphael etc., are all fantastic. I highly recommend the Instrata Gramercy.

Pros:

Lived here for 2 years (which speaks for itself) and found everything to be fabulous - mainly because of all the wonderful staff. The apartment was spacious, really well sound-proofed from the neighbours and well maintained. The roof has the best views of the city and the building feels extremely safe and secure, again, thanks to the lovely door staff. Did not want to leave.

Pros:

After the original post, I'll say for the most part things have gotten better. They have started changing a lot of the breaking heat and air units, so that's no longer the issue, though most gym equipment is still broken and an elevator is out of order every couple months. I do think the apartment itself is great, you can't hear neighbors at all, and maintenance and door men are really lovely, helpful people.
