Cons:

Do not live here. They place in infested with rodents and the building does nothing about it. They are rude and do not care to fix the mice problem that everyone has been complaining about for years. They claim they send an exterminator to your apartment who does nothing. The management company is a joke and so are the doormen. I would be better off living in a walk up, at least a buzzer would notify me someone was coming to my apartment. They let anyone up to your apartment without buzzing them up. Real great security! They charge top dollar rent for a dirty rodent infested building.

If you like living in a dungeon infested with rats, this place is for you. Our apartment is currently infested with mice and rats the size of your sneaker. Oh- and we aren't messy, we have a cleaning lady twice a month and are constantly traveling for work, don't cook or eat at home. Basically, this building should be bulldozed, quarantined, or burned. I live in constant fear of having a rat crawl up my ass whilst sleeping. It's probably happened before-or happening right now. Either way don't expect anyone to help you. Enjoy the rat party.

If you like living in a overpriced apartment with mice and cockroaches, appliances from the 1920's and employees who say it's not their job to pick up the dead mice in the traps in your kitchen than this is the place for you!

I just met a girl in the elevator that said 3 people are moving from the 12th floor because of bed bugs and mice. I knew about the mice because I have been infested for the past 3 years and fighting the management to exterminate. Basically, they told me if I didn't like it, I could leave. She told me 3 people on the 12th floor are moving out this week including her. She also said the building management asked her to pay for the exterminator and not to tell anyone else in the building about the bedbugs. If you are looking for a full service building, this is NOT it. One of the maintenance crew cracked my glass shower door, so bad I was afraid it would shatter while I was taking a shower. It took 3 years to replace it because I paid one of the porters to take one from a vacant apartment. I am currently looking but as you all know rents are high. The only reason I am still here is because my rent is stabilized and we all know how hard it is to come across stabilized apartments in this city.
