Cons:

I applied for an apartment here. Provided all paperwork, paid all fees etc. Every day for seven days I was told "approval is coming today" but then on the seventh day they decided to give my apartment to another applicant and told me to apply to a different unit in the building.Total disrespect. Unprofessional. After reading all of the reviews and learning of the serious ethical and legally questionable behavior from management and staff, I think they actually did me a favor.*MAKE SURE TO READ THE "NOT RECOMMENDED" REVIEWS FROM YELP.

Pros:

We've just moved in - absolutely love our new apartment, nothing can beat this location. Love love love it. Building is quite old so the amenities etc. Can't compare to the newly built apartments, but everything you'd need is available, laundry room, a small gym etc.The service is not the best we've experienced with full service rental buildings, as you can see from other comments. But Abdul, who works at the front desk some days out of the week, he is the absolutely SWEETEST. The BEST! His presence just more than makes up for the imperfections from other areas. He's just so kind and he does his job to take care of you. Every time I come back home and see him at the front, it just warms my heart. I really hope he gets a promotion and a bigger paycheck and be the manager or at least the example of the staffs at concierge cuz he DESERVES it!

Pros:

I lived here several years and was very happy for the most part. My apartment was renovated and mostly in good condition, with new appliances in the kitchen. I only needed repairs a few times and these were completed quickly. The whole building has been renovated recently too (new carpets, wallpaper, lobby). The location is super convenient to supermarkets, drugstores, the subway, restaurants, etc. but it's also noisy 24 hrs/7 days. The doormen are very friendly.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the vents carry smells between apartments so I often got pot or food smells drifting in, and sometimes you can smell the pipes. They did build in a fitness center but you have to pay extra to use it. The BLDG managers are hard to get a hold of but the building staff is more easily accessible.

Cons:

I would give zero stars if I could. BLDG management is terrible. They are so rude, unhelpful
