Pros:

None I can think of.

Cons:

The only thing good about this place is the doormen. They are all awesome people and very helpful and welcoming. Other than that, there is nothing good about this place. It's been under construction for months (loud shaking piercing noises at early and all hours), men outside your windows all morning and day working on the facade and balconies (which are closed off) competing with massive construction directly across the street. The elevators are terrible. It takes 20 minutes to get an elevator downstairs that isn't full with people to the brim. Don't get a high floor here unless you're ready to take the gross dingy dirty cockroach stairwell! The laundry room is disgusting. My clothes get dirtier (when I put them in the filthy washing machines and pay for this) and the area is not well kept at all. The building manager ignores all complaints and says that the laundry room is run by another company.

Cons:

If you are young and missing your Frat house, this is the building for you. Partying, weed smoking, cigarettes!! Move right in! Supposed to be a non smoking building.. ha! Many weekend mornings opening my door and tripping over sleeping guys in my hallway! Yep! Management no help. Elevator issues horrible. Walking down 27 flights to get to work,no joke.
Laundry room filthy (check out how much hair is wrapped around every cart wheel! Disgusting)and hardly ever an elevator available to get you directly there, so you have to schlep through lobby and walk down dark steps.
I did get all my security back in a timely fashion, so no complaints there. Doormen and staff are nice.
500 apartments with 4 part time working elevators is unacceptable. Pan Am landlord one of the worst.
Google them. We are in a Brodsky building now and it is amazing!! Rant over

Cons:

I know this may seem like a great building, awesome location, good amenities. I'm here to tell you how wrong you are. I've been living in the building for two years now. My first year here wasn't too bad, outside of the constantly broken elevators. The building is over rented and under managed. The doormen are all FANTASTIC. I have nothing bad to say about any of them. However, when it takes literally 25 minutes to get from the lobby to your floor because only 1 elevator works, that can be a pain.
Not only that, but they are now building a 40 story building right in front of the north facing apartments.
If you want to maintain your sanity, stay far far away. 6am wake up calls now going on 6 months. Overall, nice apartment, great doormen, HORRIBLE management, terrible elevators.

Pros:

My wife and I have been looking for a one-bedroom apartment in the NYC over a month and we are really impressed with the kindness and professionalism offered by the management company here at New York Tower. We arrived the building late on a Sunday afternoon. Even the leasing office was about to close, Charlotte still patiently showed us the apartment without any complains. During our viewing, we noticed there is construction going on across the street, so we decided to take another trip the next day. Since my wife had a morning meeting; the latest we could come in was 8:30am. Charlotte was willing to compromise on our schedule and come in extra early on a snowy Monday. Unfortunately things didn't work out at the end; but we are truly appreciated Charlotte's patient throughout the process. Hopefully my review could help others who are looking at the building today.

Pros:

I am writing this review to revise and correct a recent impression made upon me by the building management. I had previously believed that my wife and I were unfortunate in our dealings with the management. After being in contact with Mirador directly I learnt that our unfortunate impression was due largely in part to the broker we had gone through.
Unbeknownst to the management the broker had told us that we had forfeited a security deposit (good faith deposit) as we had reservations moving into the building. After being contacted by Mirador directly we learnt that this was not the case, far from it in fact. What the brokers intent was (whether to pressurize us or otherwise) we do not know but I am happy that Mirador themselves have shown themselves to be far far superior in moral dealings than most NYC companies and for this not only do we applaud them but would like to recognize them as well. To all future lessees in the the NY area i strongly recommend this company. Have no fear with entering a contract with these ppl. I wish I had been in contact with them directly earlier than going through a questionable broker.

Cons:

Awful awful management company. They started construction on a new building across the street. I live facing the construction which starts ta 7am, 6x a week. I renewed my lease recently and they never told me about this - and it's due to continue for 4 years. I have tried everything to work it out with the management company to literally move across the hall to a south facing apartment, where you can't hear the noise. My health is being severely impacted because of the noise, and I can no longer work at home (can't even hear conference calls) after I had 2 surgeries. I offered to pay more and even got a doctor's
note and they denied me with NO explanation. It is ludicrous. I pay more than 3,000, have lived here for 3 years and they can't accommodate me switching to an open apartment? Even with all my health issues? It's criminal. Now I have to pay a lawyer to break a lease. It's a good thing I work in PR and write for the Huffington Post so I can share how uncooperative these awful people are to someone who is SICK.

Pros:

This is a great doorman building located in the heart of Murray Hill. The doorman are wonderful and it's also pleasant to come home to this building. The elevators are new so they work very will. Each apartment has a balcony which adds a really great touch to each apartment. The building is perfectly located near public transit, Duane reade, citi bike, fairway, movie theatre, and many other great restaurants.

The laundry room has plenty of washers and dryers so there is never any issue when doing laundry. If doing your own laundry isn't your thing, you can utilize the laundry service located in the lobby; wash/dry/fold, dry cleaning, etc. the hallways were recently renovated and the cleaning crew does a great job maintaining the building.

Overall I am very pleased with the building and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great apartment building in NYC.
